Will the Maid of the Mist be running in 2012? Yes.
The new tour operator is Hornblower Canada Co., but they won’t take start running until 2014. The current owners, called Maid of the Mist Steamboat Co. are expecting to make an announcement this month about the 2012 season. Stay tuned.
I guess it will be packed this season. I’ve never taken the tour. It’s incredible that after being running for so many years it gets closed down. Btw: nice pic
The Maid of the Mist is one of the best things about Niagara Falls! I hope they open again soon.
It will be heartbreaking for the visitors as The Maid of the Mist is an iconic figure when it comes to visiting Niagara Falls… I hope they do not stop its services….I visited Niagara Falls a year ago and stayed there in one of the hotel in Niagara Falls and also enjoyed the thrill of Maid of the Mist…it was a amazing experience for for me….
