The Nova House Book Riot is putting out another chapter for charity.

The 31st annual will be held at the Optimist Club in Niagara Falls, selling thousands of books, magazines and music from May 8 to May 11. Hours May 8 and 9 are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and May 10 and 11 are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

About 5,000 shoppers are expected to attend, sorting through all genres.

All proceeds will support Nova House, a Niagara Falls shelter for abused women and children run by Women’s Place of South Niagara.

More than 200 volunteers will donate their time to aid with the event.

Women’s Place of South Niagara Inc. is a team driven to help women and children through the violent crisis of abuse by providing safe shelter, counselling and essential life support services.
