The Letter L Scratched Into Cars

Crime Stoppers of Niagara is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for the damage to a number of vehicles throughout the city of Niagara Falls.

Sometime between Sunday October 7, 2007 and Tuesday October 9, 2007, person or persons unknown, committed acts of mischief by damaging a number of cars in various locations within the city of Niagara Falls. On each occasion the letter “L” was scratched into the paint of the vehicle and tires on each vehicle were flattened.

Police believe that the same person or people in each case caused the damage. If you have any information regarding the identity of the person or people responsible for these crimes or any other crimes, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit a TIP online at www.crimestoppersofniagara.com

Remember, you never have to give your name or testify in court. The calls are not recorded or traced and Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display. If an arrest is made or charges are laid as a result of your TIP, you are eligible for CASH reward of up to $2000.
