Book Reading – Blood & Groom by Jill Edmondson

bloodandgroomJill Edmondson will be reading her first first novel, Blood and Groom, Tuesday January 26th, at Pelham Library at 7 pm.

About the Author

Jill is a Communications Professor at George Brown College in Toronto, ON where she teaches Essay Writing and Business Communications in the Faculty of Hospitality. She has also taught writing at Seneca College, the University of Toronto, and the Tec de Monterrey (Torreon, Mexico). Jill has an MA in Cultural Studies and a BA in History.

Jill founded Danforth Whodunits – a book club for mystery lovers – in 2004. There was so much interest in a crime fiction book club that she founded a second mystery book club – Metro Mysteries – a year later. She is also a member of Crime Writers of Canada and of Sisters in Crime (Toronto Chapter).

Plot

When not talking dirty at her part time phone sex job, or singing cheesy cover tunes in generic suburban bars, fledgling private investigator Sasha Jackson is spending her days trying to figure out how ‘till death do us part’ applies to her jilted client. more…
