On This Day in Niagara Falls History
On the evening of March 29 and the morning of March 30th 1848, Niagara Falls stopped flowing due to an ice jam.

I wish there was an ice jam. This northeast flooding is killing me!
I grew up not to far from Canada. I now that ti can get cold up there but for the Niagra to stop flowing is quite impressive. The cold is why we headed to Florida. Just last week we stayed at a Disney Pool Home and had a great time. That’s much different then life in the frozen tundra.
