I love detecting beaches with my ACE 250,my coil is waterproof so I can go up to about three feet into the water as long as my controle panel don’t get wet,found lots of goodies.

Nothing better than detecting at the beach especially if you have a waterproof detector like my Minelab Excalibur II. It works great in the dry sand, wet sand, and in the water and can be submersed up to 200 feet. Love getting wet with my detector.
