Name: Annie Edson Taylor
Birth Date: October 24, 1838
Claim to Fame: On October 24th, 1901, at the age 63, Annie Taylor became the first daredevil to go over the falls in a barrel and survive.
Surprisingly, the only injury she had was a cut on her forehead. The successful stunt brought her fame but not much fortune.
