Magician of the year, The Greg Frewin Theatre in Niagara Falls
This documentary was filmed to show that although people think Niagara Falls USA is a beautiful place, not many people know of the problems that lie right outside the falls. Poverty, drugs, crime, prostitution, and many more issues are daily problems. Although all of these problems exist, there are lots of great organizations that are looking to make changes in the area. Places like The Hana House, Community Missions, and Heart Love & Soul as well as many more, are all teaming up to make the city of Niagara Falls a place of peace and serenity. Niagara Falls once was a thriving city full of hope, and these organizations are helping bring that hope back to the city.

Fallsview Casino Resort spectacular entrance fountain. The design and features of the Hydro-Teslatron gives off the feeling as if it is going to explode. The structure is stationed inside the main entrance of the casino to intrigue visitors. It uses high tech lasers, LED’s, and runs 7000 gallons cycling through generators, to show the impression of Niagara Falls and its source for harnessing electricity to light up large areas. The Teslatron changes into many different colors while electric sparks run within the interior.
This is footage of a 1922 movie called “The Man From Beyond”. It features a stunt, by the famous magician Harry Houdini, and his co-star dangerously close to the edge of Niagara Falls. There’s no camera tricks and apparently very few safety fail-safes. more…

Video of Niagara Falls Canada’s newest attraction; the ice skating rink called the ‘Rink at the Brink’.
For further information you can visit the Winter Festival of Lights website.
I have been lucky enough to enjoy skating the Rideau Canal in Ottawa, and the Rockefeller Center in New York. This Winter I plan on ice skating just a few feet from Niagara Falls at the attraction dubbed “The Rink at the Brink”. I can’t wait to see the view at night when the falls is lit up.
The attraction is very affordable. Admission, including skate rental, is $10 for adults and $8 for children. The prices are even cheaper if you bring your own skates.
An old Abbot & Costello Niagara Falls skit:
The Winter Festival of Lights kicked off this weekend. The annual festival will draw 1.3 million visitors, between November and January, to see the fireworks shows and over 3 million lights.
