Isn't there a bit of conflict in that statement? Given the negative societal effects that mega-Casinos have been shown to have on the communities that surround them (crime, gambling addiction, bankruptcies, etc.). Any amount that Fallsview might donate to charities pales in comparison to the long-term negative societal costs of the casino, not to mention the damage that the casino does to the environment.
